MYRTLE BEACH OCEANFRONT HOTELS Cabana Shores Hotel
Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Hotels – Cabana Shores
We stayed here late July and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel only has 5 floors and has parking on site rather than on deck which is something I appreciate.
The rooms are very clean and very quiet and the staff are always on hand to help out if the need arises.
There is nothing built in front of the hotel to obstruct the ocean view; however, the beach is across the street (this street is a two lane road, not a highway or busy city street and is very easy to cross, even with a child).
The hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood, with no huge resorts on either side of it. The best part of this, and it makes it well worth it to cross the street to the beach, is that once you are on the beach, you can see the huge crowds in both directions, but there are very few people sharing the beach with you, even in the month of July.
The hotel advertises that the rooms have been recently redecorated and we found ours to be nice and it did appear to have been updated with new carpet, drapes, etc. – the facility itself seems to be a bit older, but we thought it was very well kept and maintained.
Housekeeping actually CLEANED the room and bathroom during our stay, instead of just replacing the towels.
If you are looking for a bar, restaurant, hot tub, or waterslide, they don’t have any of that here. But the room was quiet and clean, other guests were also quiet, and the beach was amazing.
We loved it and will definitely be back!
